All Brentford supporters will be aware that Brentford Football Club are involved in an ongoing project to develop a new community stadium at Lionel Road.

The Lionel Road site was actually identified as being a suitable site for a Football Stadium by BIAS, who produced the first feasibility study and galvanised the political support that the project now enjoys.

The Football Club has been liaising with residents and community groups through the Lionel Road Liaison Group, on which BIAS has representation. This is to keep all interested parties informed as the Club move towards the submission of a planning application for the stadium and enabling development.

The Stadium Action Group, which has had success in the past fighting proposed moves to Woking and Kingstonian, reformed in March 2013, in order to galvanise support for the scheme which will be crucial when Hounslow Council's Planning Committee make their decision on the application.
