BIAS is determined to impress upon the club the need for a better 'Matchday Experience' this season. We appeal to supporters, whether they are regular followers or just once-a-season fans, to get in touch and tell us about their Matchday Experience. What gets you annoyed...?
Is it the onions? Is it the beer queue? Is it the toilets? Is it the PA system and Peter Gilham's dodgy record collection?
We also want to hear your positive views and experiences. All you well-travelled Bees may have been impressed by some aspect of a trip last season. Are there any ideas from other grounds, other sporting venues, or just generally, that you would like the club to consider? BIAS will take these on board, investigate the costs, the pros and cons and the feasibility and, if worthwhile, present them to the club.
Griffin Park will have some large crowds to look forward to this season. Coventry, Portsmouth, Sheffield United, Bournemouth on New Years Day and Notts County on Good Friday are all expected to boost the numbers at the self-styled 'home of football'.
Encouraging the casual fans to visit more often is a key factor in keeping the club vibrant and relevant to the community. This has been and remains true, even in the prospective Age of Benham. A better Matchday Experience will enhance BFC's chances of increasing support.
If you are not a BIAS member already maybe now is the time to consider joining up. Membership is only £1 a month and BIAS membership can be used to reserve your place in the queue for much sought after Brentford tickets.
