The aims of Out and About are simple: to promote Brentford FC and the wider Brentford family; to increase support for the club; to bring Brentford fans together; and to have fun.
Enthusiastic and energetic work in the community by BIAS in previous years and, more recently, by Donna Aldred, Caroline Small and David Enstone amongst others - alongside the Football In The Community team - has built a very good name for the club locally.
BIAS Out and About seeks to re-energise this campaign with the support of a host of volunteers from its members as well as the wider community.
The initiative has been warmly welcomed by the Brentford FC board and the team have been working closely with Donald Kerr (Bees United board member and Brentford FC director) and David Leir (Brentford FC marketing dept) to maximise its impact.
The organisers need a team of volunteers to help out at events - fetes, fayres and carnivals and fun days. We need a hand supplying information and doshing out prizes and fun.
We also hope to provide social occasions for Brentford fans and the wider community to attend and ideas for the future are keenly sought.
If you would like to get involved, either as a helper or to deliver an idea or a project then please contact us - the more the merrier as they say!
