Tranmere Rovers 1 Brentford 1
29th September 2012

The Bees left it late to earn a point at table topper Tranmere in a one all draw on Merseyside in a game that had they taken the chances created they could and possibly should have won.

The Bees dominated the first half and created the chance to have lead at half time but they either were not taken or we were undone by some superb keeping.

Tranmere punished the Bees for their lack of bite in front of goal scoring with what could have been their first real shot on target.

It looked like Tranmere 100% home record was going to be kept intact when deep, deep into injury time when a long throw from Clayton was found Douglas 10 yards out from goal who place the ball in the corner of the net.

With the Bees fans still celebrating as Tranmere re-started the game and the ref blew for full time.
