BIAS has successfully lobbied for Brentford Football club’s Capital One match away to Walsall to be brought forward to 3pm on Saturday 11th August.

As soon as the draw was announced BIAS contacted Mark Devlin to suggest that that If it did not hamper our pre-season preparations and it suited Uwe, that Walsall be asked to consider bringing the game forward and played at the weekend as neither Brentford nor Walsall had a pre-season games arranged and the move would allow more Brentford fans to travel without taking time off work to attend the Tuesday fixture.

Mark responded immediately to state that the comments of the BIAS committee are duly noted and will be discussed with Uwe and that personally speaking he hoped that the game could be switched to the weekend as it was much better for all concerned.
