BIAS Fans Forum - Key Notes
20th April 2012

On Thursday the 19th April BIAS hosted its own fans forum in The Hive at Griffin Park. The event was a great success with close to 100 people in attendance. Below are some of the key issues that were discussed on the night:

The club is currently in negotiations with 4 players for next season.

Mark Warburton is travelling to Sporting Lisbon to discuss the possibility of getting 2 of their young players on loan.

Uwe has targeted improving the teams ‘spine’ with more experienced players next season.

During the Olympics the club will be unable to host and home friendly games. Any home friendly games that do take place during the event will be played behind closed doors.

Marcus Bean is set to leave the club and asked to go out on loan twice during this season.

Catering as GP is under review but Mark Devlin would ideally like to see it become ‘in house’ to maximise revenue opportunities and control.

Heavy investment will go in to re laying the pitch over the summer.

In March the club came close to agreeing a ground share with a rugby club but this is no not so likely.

The playing budget for next season will not be increased.

Mark Warburton admitted to sometimes having a browse on Brentford forum ‘The Griffin Park Grapevine’.

Discussions with Shaelum Logan regarding a new contract or ongoing.
