Brian Burgess (Executive Director with regards to Lionel Road) has advised BIAS that he has forwarded to the architects the recent correspondence he received from us in which we strongly recommend that Brentford FC future proof the design the new stadium at Lionel Road so that Safe Standing can be installed if (and when) the Football Supporters Act is amended.

At the BIAS Fans forum, held in the Hive Brian in the large audience that he hoped Brentford fans will have a choice if they stood or stood whilst with the planned Lionel Road stadium Brian stated that he would be asking the architects to consider the consider the future requirements for the possible installation of Safe Standing when Lionel Road is designed.

Brian mentioned Germany, where supporters have the option to either stand or sit and said that it was one of his wishes that fans at Brentford will be able to make the same choice
