The BIAS Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Saturday 27th October in the Inverness Lodge Club, Boston Manor Road, Brentford TW8 8DW, next door to Brentford Library. The meeting will start at 12.30pm..
Please note that motions and other agenda items need to be submitted to BIAS at least 14 days before the date of the AGM for inclusion. Only fully paid up adult members are entitled to propose items for the agenda which will be published on the BIAS website during the first week of September.
Any current adult BIAS member can stand for election to the Executive Committee. Nominations for the Officers of the Association (the Chair, Secretary, Finance Officer and for the remaining 7 Executive Committee places) can be accepted up to 7 days before the date of the AGM (13th October deadline) and must be made either in writing to or e-mailing to BIAS (You can use the ‘Contact Us’ facility on the BIAS Website).
Adam Lowe will be relinquishing the role of BIAS secretary and Carey Paton is stepping down from Executive Committee. It is anticipated that all of the other will either stand for re-election or will continue to play a lead role.
All nominations must be proposed and seconded by current adult BIAS members. If you wish to stand we can probably help with finding proposers and seconders but you will need to apply as soon as possible to allow us to contact members on your behalf and you should be prepared to undertake a lead role.
The current BIAS committee is a diverse group but with definitely one thing in common - a passion for Brentford FC. We would welcome new Committee members from any part of the BFC community. If you want to play a part get in touch as BIAS will only remain an effective organisation and continue to grow as long as there are people willing to put themselves forward for the Committee, so new Committee members will be more than welcome.
The current BIAS Constitution can be viewed on within the ‘About Us’ section of this website
