If you enjoyed the Women’s World Cup or love all things Brentford, then pop along to Bedfont Sports to watch Brentford Women, as they strive to reach the Women’s National League by climbing the pyramid.
Our first Women’s home match is this Sunday, against Hackney at Bedfont Sports. Kick off is 3pm.
The facilities at our home ground Bedfont Sports, 3k capacity ground are excellent. All four sides are covered with seating on three sides. There is a nice club house, a tea bar and a FREE car park.
The ground at Bedfont is great for kids who can both run around and bond with their parents whilst being indoctrinated as Bees Supporters.
The standard of football on display is probably much better than you would anticipate.
The spine of last season’s squad has all re-signed to play for the Bees and our squad has seriously been strengthened with the acquisitions of Lucy Bolitho (Millwall), Paula Holguin (Lougborough University) Nour Abul Khier (Loughborough Lightening) Aya Mirjam (Sutton United), Samantha Read (Headstone Manor) and Ellen Wardlaw (QPR). In fact over 150 players (the equivalent of ten matchday squads, trialled for our Women’s teams this year.
Last two Season’s ‘Showcase’ game at Bedfont have attracted gates of over a thousand and there should be a few hundred in the ground this Sunday for our next home game
