The BIAS AGM took place on Wednesday 15th July 2026 online via Zoom conference facilities. A huge thank you to those members who attended the meeting.
We announced at our last AGM in November 2025 that future AGM’s will align to the football seasons, rather than calendar years. This enables us as an Executive Committee to plan better for each new season and will provide greater continuity as Executive Committee members will not need to change part way through the season.
The agenda for the meeting covered a review of the BIAS Annual Report circulated to all members ahead of the meeting. This detailed the activity and achievements of the BIAS Executive Committee since our last AGM. The meeting also provided an update on the BIAS Finances for the financial year ending 31st May 2026.

The following changes to the BIAS Constitution were approved at the meeting
- Changes to clauses 7.7 & 7.8 to acknowledge the adoption of electronic voting at the AGM and to strengthen these clauses to reflect this change.
The meeting also elected the following new Executive Committee members:
- Ben Margolis
- Graham Ball
- Caleb Johnstone-Cowan
The following existing Executive Committee members were re-elected for a further 3-year term.
- Angelo Basu
- Adam Hobbs
- David Minckley
- Sarah Todd
- Matthew White
- Peter Edward
- Allyson Woyak
The following Executive Committee Members stepped down with effect from the date of the AGM:
- Andrea Oldfield
- Chris Ritchings
- Richard Nabarro
Thanks were recorded for the hard work and dedication shown during their respective times on the committee.
Richard has kindly agreed to continue to provide the Executive Committee with his insights and experience on governance and constitutional matters in an informal capacity outside of the Executive Committee.
The meeting also approved the following standing motions:
- Approval for the minutes of the AGM held on the 12th November 2025
- Adoption of the Chair’s Annual Report for the period ending 31st May 2026
- Continued free membership for all members of BIAS for a further 12 months to help build our membership base.
- Adoption of the BIAS Financial Accounts for the year ending 31st May 2026
- Approval to retain Jim Walsh as an independent auditor for the BIAS financial accounts.
