About a decade ago, BIAS set up regional groups, covering every region in the country, to bring exiled Bees fans together.
The purpose was to bring Bees fans living away from Brentford together, to make travelling easier and to build remote communities of Brentford fans around the country.
We have had a lot of successes, with people car sharing or jumping on trains together.
On numerous occasions when the Football Club has run FREE coach travel, the groups enabled us to work with the club to run coaches from North Surrey, Hillingdon, Spelthorne and from Buckinghamshire
With so many games on the TV now there is now the opportunity to set up Watch Parties, where Bees fans can gather in pubs local to themselves to enjoy a pint or a glass of wine with fellow Bees fans and to watch the Bees on the box. Such Watch Parties are already very successful in America and we would love to replicate that success here.
Membership of BIAS has grown considerably since then, literally tenfold, and would like to reinvigorate these groups to make them bigger, better and of more value.
