The IAG is a police initiative created to form a genuine partnership with all sections of the community, encouraging the active involvement of people from diverse groups.
The Metropolitan Police have established an IAG involving London based football supporter groups to discuss policing at football matches across the capital.
Our last meeting covered the following topics:
- Categorisation of matches in London and changes to Kick off times
- Live Facial Recognition at sporting events
- Police initiatives aimed at reducing drug abuse at football matches and violence against women and girls
BIAS is pleased to support these meetings with senior officers of the Met Police and have the opportunity alongside other supporter groups to raise issues and concerns impacting match going supporters.
