Following fan feedback which we passed on, the Club has worked closely with South Western Railway (SWR) to streamline the journey home from Kew Bridge Station.
Here’s what you need to know for the next match day:
• Split Queues: Once you arrive at the top of the steps to go down to the tunnel, there are now two distinct lanes—one for Westbound trains (Hounslow, Staines etc) on the left and London-bound on the right.

• Clear Guidance: Look out for extra staff, visual “Stop & Go” signs, and loud-hailers to help you get into the right lane early.
• Safety First: SWR manages platform capacity. If a platform is full, that specific lane will pause while the other remains open, ensuring the station stays as clear and safe as possible.
This new system has been trialled and found to keep things moving much better because even if one platform is full, the other one can now stay open.
